Your rules.
Not your adrenaline.
Let Freqtrade execute the strategy's logic. Replace impulsive clicks with explicit entry and exit conditions.
The market runs on emotion.
Your strategy shouldn't.
Meet NostalgiaForInfinity. An open-source trading strategy for Freqtrade, built for a more disciplined approach to crypto.
01 / THE STRATEGY
Explore three building blocks of NFI X8: multi-timeframe context, filtered entries, and trade-aware management. The charts illustrate concepts, not strategy trades.
Illustrative data only. Not a backtest, live signal, or projected return.
02 / A DIFFERENT MINDSET
No secret signals. No black box.
Just a strategy you can inspect, test, and make part of your own trading process.
Let Freqtrade execute the strategy's logic. Replace impulsive clicks with explicit entry and exit conditions.
The strategy is public. Explore its history, inspect changes, and understand what you're running before you commit.
Explore the development historyYour infrastructure. Your control. NFI is a strategy, not a custodial investment product. You run it with your own Freqtrade setup.
OWN YOUR PROCESS03 / YOUR NEXT MOVE
Your next edge won't find itself.
Start with the source. Test before you trade.

Backtest. Dry-run. Understand the risk. Then decide.
NostalgiaForInfinity (NFI) is an open-source cryptocurrency trading strategy for the Freqtrade bot. Freqtrade is the execution engine; NFI provides strategy logic. You host and configure the bot yourself. Read the repository.
No. No strategy can guarantee returns or protect you from every loss. Market conditions, configuration, fees, liquidity, and execution all matter. Historical results are not a promise of future performance. Test thoroughly and only risk capital you can afford to lose. Read the full risk disclaimer.
You should be comfortable setting up Freqtrade, managing exchange API permissions, and understanding the risks of automated trading. Begin with the Freqtrade documentation, then follow NFI's setup guide. Use dry-run mode before considering live trading.
For a single live or dry-run bot, a Raspberry Pi 4 with 4GB RAM is a practical starting point. A small Linux VPS with 2 vCPUs and 4GB RAM is another good option. Use a 64-bit OS with Docker, reliable power and internet, and room for data and logs. Resource needs grow with your pairlist and configuration; run large backtests or optimization workloads on a more powerful machine. Check the Freqtrade setup requirements.
The NFI README points to individual commit discussions for backtesting results. Always check the exact strategy version, date range, exchange, fees, and configuration. This website's market explorer uses illustrative data, not reported strategy performance.
